Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Roid Monster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Mundy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roid Monster! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ben Mundy! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Jonathan Paton and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Monster throws a low kick but Mundy avoids it. Nice sprawl there from Monster as Mundy shoots in. Monster fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mundy checks it well. Roid Monster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mundy avoids a kick to the body.
Mundy pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mundy throws a head kick that misses. Mundy has a takedown stuffed. Monster fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mundy throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mundy lands a two punch combo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Monster misses with a body kick. Monster tries to clinch but Mundy is having none of it. Monster throws a push kick but Mundy slaps the foot to one side. Mundy tries a head kick but it misses.
Monster moves into the clinch successfully.

Roid Monster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Mundy. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Mundy dodges an elbow strike from Monster.
Mundy wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Monster lands an elbow inside. Monster gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. With the fighters up against the cage, Monster throws an elbow but misses. Monster is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Monster for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Mundy tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Monster just stands there and leans against the cage. Monster comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Monster lands a nice elbow. Monster lands an elbow inside that Mundy shrugs off. Mundy looking to stall.
Monster looks to throw an elbow but misses. Mundy is looking to break free of the clinch but Monster has double underhooks. Monster gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Mundy is working for takedown but Monster is calmly controlling the position for now. Monster has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mundy regains guard immediately. Mundy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Monster. Monster throwing strikes but missing. Mundy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Monster works over Mundy with some ground and pound from guard. Mundy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Mundy wants to sweep but no luck. Mundy controlling the position. Mundy is looking to stand up but Monster isn't so interested in that idea. Monster throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mundy wants to stand and escape but Monster is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Mundy tries to keep at a distance but Monster has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Monster misses with an elbow over the top. A nice glancing elbow lands by Monster. Mundy tries to pull guard but Monster holds him up against the cage and eventually Mundy drops back down to his feet.
Monster lands a damaging elbow. Monster lands an elbow just above Mundy 's eye. Come on Monster - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Mundy takes an elbow to the temple. Monster lands an elbow inside. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Monster lands an elbow inside that Mundy shrugs off. Mundy changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Monster fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mundy looks for a takedown but Monster sprawls well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roid Monster dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Monster looks to score with a jab to the body but Mundy is just out of range. Mundy ducks under a wild hook from Monster. Mundy changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Monster tries to avoid it but Mundy manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Monster to the ground. Monster escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Monster is looking to clinch. Monster pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Ben Mundy is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Mundy swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Mundy struggling a bit here. Monster tries to advance to mount but can't. Mundy is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Mundy throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Mundy wants to get back to his feet but Monster drags him back down. Mundy is breathing heavily.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Monster misses with a hook. Mundy ducked under it nicely.

Monster throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Monster throws a wild body kick that Mundy sees coming a mile off. Mundy tries to bum rush Monster with a series of wild strikes but Monster uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Monster pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mundy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Monster counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Monster creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Monster throws an elbow but it misses.
Monster pushes off an throws an elbow but Mundy leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Monster stalling against the cage.
Monster lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Mundy jumps guard but Monster stands there with Mundy around his waist. Mundy gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Monster works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Mundy working for a triangle but Monster defends it easily.
Mundy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mundy wants to sweep here but Monster controlling him for the moment. Mundy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Monster gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mundy has momentary wrist control but Monster slips an elbow through the middle. Monster postures up.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Monster looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roid Monster dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mundy misses with a takedown and Monster counters with a shoot takedown. Mundy fights it but they end up in guard. Monster avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mundy is trying to control the position but Monster postures up. Monster slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Mundy looking for a sweep. Not yet Mundy, not yet. Mundy is striking but Monster is not phased and passes to half guard. Monster working Mundy over with strikes. Nice strikes from Monster there. Mundy tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Monster has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mundy tries to lock up and control but Monster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Monster scoring with strikes but Mundy is staying in there. Mundy bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! There's a bit of a scramble here and now Monster is on top in guard.
Mundy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Monster slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Mundy is looking to reverse the position. Monster happy to just control the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mundy is looking to reverse the position. Mundy can't do much from the bottom here. Monster is chipping away with strikes.
Monster working the body and head with strikes. Mundy sneaks back into half guard. Monster scoring with strikes to the body and head. Mundy pushes Monster off looking to stand but Monster dives back in and keeps control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mundy wants to improve his position but Monster is controlling well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Mundy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Monster counters with a nice uppercut. Mundy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Roid Monster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Mundy. Monster throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Monster avoids the head kick by Mundy.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Monster throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Mundy shoots for a takedown but Monster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Monster throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mundy sees it coming and avoids it easily. Mundy fails with a takedown attempt. Ben Mundy has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Monster gets a takedown into half guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Roid Monster showed his dominance in that final round. Well Monster has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
