Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rodge Cws!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kane Frenchy!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Sano.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frenchy shoots in for a takedown but Cws shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cws pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cws shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Frenchy wants to control but Cws is keeping busy.
Well, if Cws is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Cws decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Frenchy tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Cws cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cws shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Cws missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cws not doing much here.
Frenchy avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Cws.
Cws is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Frenchy sees it coming and defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cws throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frenchy trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Cws with shots to the head and body - Frenchy looks very uncomfortable down there.
Cws throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage.
Cws forces the positional change into back control.
Cws just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Cws is looking to control Frenchy but Frenchy is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Cws misses with punches from the back.
Frenchy really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cws. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Cws has got one arm under Frenchy's chin. This could be trouble... Frenchy trying to control the other hand but Cws gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Frenchy has tapped out! The fight is over!
