The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sweeperton shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Sweeperton slips a nice elbow through Manderson's hands, connecting with Manderson's forehead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sweeperton trying to pass the guard but Manderson defending well.
Manderson manages to get to full guard.
Sweeperton stopping the sweep attempt from Manderson.
Manderson will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Sweeperton throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Manderson was covering up waiting for the punch and Sweeperton finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Sweeperton tries to free his leg and advance position but Manderson is retaining full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Manderson is on top in guard.

Manderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Sweeperton's guard.

Sweeperton tries to get to full guard but Manderson has control of the leg.
Sweeperton is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Manderson pulls his head out easily.
Manderson thows a huge punch but Sweeperton dodges it nicely.
Sweeperton is in trouble now - Manderson has advanced to mount!
Manderson tries to control but Sweeperton wriggling away.
Sweeperton tries to hold on but Manderson postures up.
Manderson is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Sweeperton manages to regain half guard. Good work.

Manderson thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Sweeperton to regain full guard.

Sweeperton drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Sweeperton as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Manderson screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Sweeperton! Nice submission victory there!
