Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davison kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nowhere to run. Anderson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. RAWR kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Davison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Marc Anderson! The judges for this bout are William Gold, James Atkins and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anderson slips a straight right by Davison. Davison fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Davison as he avoids it easily. Davison with a body punch. A glancing blow. Davison lands a left and a right that send Anderson crashing to the mat, dazed. Davison thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Marc Anderson has been cut. Anderson takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Anderson is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davison pinned against the cage. Davison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Anderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Davison finish him? Davison throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Davison misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Anderson seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Davison connects with an inside leg kick. Davison throws a jab but it's blocked by Anderson. Davison cracks a nice hook into Anderson's ribs. Anderson looks gassed! Davison listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. A punch combination from Davison misses. Anderson defending well as Davison loads up on a big left hand. Anderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Davison sprawls well. He's pushed Anderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Joe Davison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marc Anderson. Davison catches Anderson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Anderson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davison tries to avoid it but Anderson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davison to the ground. Davison escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Davison is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Anderson. Davison lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Joe Davison is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Anderson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Davison.
Anderson is trying desperately to land a takedown but Davison is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Anderson.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davison connects with a body shot. Davison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Anderson. Davison looks to throw the jab but Anderson is out of range. Davison thows a left - swing and a miss! Davison scores with a nice head shot. Davison dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Davison throws a shot from downtown. Anderson moves away and avoids it. Davison throws a lazy uppercut
and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Davison's guard. Davison is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Davison has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Anderson off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson slips a jab from Davison. Davison looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. A telegraphed right hand from Davison misses the target. Joe Davison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davison throws the left hand but Anderson avoids the punch easily. Davison swings and misses with a shot to the body and Anderson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Davison won't be happy with that. Davison wants to get back to his feet. Anderson controlling the position. Davison is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Anderson cracks Davison with a big elbow. Anderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anderson working the body and head with strikes. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Anderson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Davison keeps working. Davison is trying to buck Anderson off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Anderson fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Davison avoids it really well and circles away. Anderson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Davison.
Davison scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Davison scores with a jab to the jaw. Davison thuds a left hand into Anderson's body. Joe Davison is winning the standup battle so far. Anderson uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Davison. Anderson slips under a jab. Anderson takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Anderson is breathing heavily. Davison fails to land with a series of punches.

Davison waves Anderson back to his feet! Davison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Anderson. Anderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davison as he jumps to the side. Davison misses with the combination.

Nice takedown defense from Davison. No joy for Anderson on that attempt. Sloppy strikes from Davison. Those never looked like landing. Anderson scores a takedown into full mount! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Anderson unloading with bombs! Anderson pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Davison wants to try and get back to his feet. Anderson moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Davison has worked his arm free - good work by Davison!
Anderson is trying to get an arm triangle but Davison is defending well. Anderson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davison bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! Anderson fails with the takedown. Davison throws a big shot that misses. Anderson avoids a punch combination nicely.

Nice body punch from Davison. Oooooh!!! Davison has knocked Anderson down with a huge combo! Davison steps away and waves a wobbly Anderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Davison lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Davison changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Davison with a jab. BOOM! Davison lands a beautiful left hook that drops Anderson. Anderson tries to recover but Davison is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Anderson lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
