Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ross Maxwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tomasz Adamek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adamek has chosen I Am The Sword - Motorhead as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maxwell punishes Adamek's body with a nice straight punch.

Adamek shoots in and gets a takedown into Maxwell's guard.

Adamek drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Maxwell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Adamek has Maxwell in his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Maxwell looking to sit in guard and control but Adamek gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Maxwell throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Maxwell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Adamek wants to control from the top but Maxwell keeps moving.

Maxwell is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Adamek slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Maxwell tries to buck Adamek off but Adamek is having none of it.

Maxwell regains half guard there - taking advantage of Adamek's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Maxwell wants to get back to his feet.

Adamek is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Maxwell sees it coming and defends easily.

Adamek is trying to work for a kimura but Maxwell is defending well.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Maxwell is staying active underneath Adamek, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Maxwell is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Adamek thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Maxwell's head.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's time! Maxwell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Adamek keeps the fight on the outside.
Adamek throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maxwell's waist but Maxwell gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Adamek off to one side.

Adamek gets the takedown into side control.
Maxwell is looking for a sweep.
Maxwell is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Adamek trying to control the position but Maxwell is working away.
Adamek is trying to ground and pound but Maxwell uses the momentary lack of control by Adamek to regain half guard.
Maxwell tries to roll over but Adamek keeps him under control.

Maxwell has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Adamek is working away from the top position though.

Adamek is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Adamek is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Maxwell is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
