Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nicholas Key (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Miles (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Nicholas Key!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Roger Miles!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miles connects with a solid leg kick.
Jab, jab by Miles - just one landing.
Good leg kick by Miles there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Key moves into range and clinches up with Miles.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Miles has had enough of the clinch but Key keeps him there for the moment.

Key jumps into guard, dragging Miles to the mat.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Miles trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Key manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Key wants to control from the top but Miles keeps moving.
Miles really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Key. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Key decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Miles, up you get!

Key fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Miles, pushing him back against the cage.
Miles misses with a body punch.
Key lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

Key has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Miles uses from the top position.

Key working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miles doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miles manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Key is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Miles is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Miles is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Key jumps into side control!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Miles parries the strikes from Key easily there. Key is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Miles to escape.

Key darts in and clinches Miles up against the cage.
Key tries for a takedown but Miles manages to get underhooks.
Miles misses with a punch on the inside.
Key can't get the takedown.
Key is breathing heavily.
Miles fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Miles struggles to land a body shot inside as Key controls his hands.
Key lands a body punch.
Miles misses with some punches.
Miles misses with the head strike.
Miles is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Key manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miles tries to hold on but Key pushes him away.
Key looking to control but Miles is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Miles is just holding on here. Key manages to take his back.
Miles is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Roger Miles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Key takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Miles stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Miles wants it to stay on the feet.

Roger Miles showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Key takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Miles connects with a leg kick. Key looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Miles leaves Key with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Miles uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Key on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Key takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

That kick from Miles tenderised Key's leg. Key is trying to keep his angry face on.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Key takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
