The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ignashov throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Ignashov feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lewis's calf.
Lewis closes the distance and pushes Ignashov back into the cage.
Ignashov lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Lewis backwards.
It looks like Lenny Lewis has been cut.

Lewis goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ignashov swings wildly with an uppercut but Lewis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lewis swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Ignashov lands an elbow inside that Lewis shrugs off.
Lewis misses with the head strike.

Lewis tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Ignashov's elbow.
Lewis pushes Ignashov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

That has opened up Lenny Lewis's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
