Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anderson Spider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Neil Tog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Anderson Spider!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Neil Tog!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spider looks to land a body kick but Tog moved away.
Spider throws a series of punches but Tog moves out of range.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tog has eaten all the pies!

Tog clinches up against the cage.

Tog's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Spider misses with the combination.

Tog drives through with a takedown into Spider's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Tog slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Spider is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Tog controlling from the top position.
Spider utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Spider is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Anderson Spider has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Tog is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Spider's half guard.
Well, if Tog is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Spider is trying to control but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tog looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Neil Tog wasn't active enough on the ground.

Tog takes the fight into the clinch.

Tog jumps into guard, dragging Spider to the mat.
Tog bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Spider's guard.
Tog is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Spider trying to keep a closed guard but Tog is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Tog seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Anderson Spider.
Spider misses with a body shot
and Tog counters with a right hand to the body.

Tog rushes Spider and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Tog jumps into guard, dragging Spider to the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Tog has control of Spider's left arm, preventing Spider from doing any damage.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Tog has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Spider can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Tog working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Spider doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Spider manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Tog connects with a body shot that sends Spider's belly button to the back.
Anderson Spider seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tog clinches up with Spider and pushes him back against the cage.

Tog gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Spider regains guard.
Tog tries to free his leg and advance position but Spider is retaining full guard.
Spider is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Spider tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Tog stands and steps away. Spider gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Tog darts in and clinches Spider up against the cage.
Spider takes a knee right on the jaw!


It looks like Anderson Spider has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Tog manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Tog wriggles free and stands up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Spider misses with a straight left.
Spider throws a lazy head kick

so Tog counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Tog scoring with some ground and pound.
Tog pushing down on Spider's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Tog keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Spider wants to control but Tog passes into side.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spider tries to improve position but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tog grinds an elbow into Spider's temple.
Spider trying to remain calm as Tog controls from the top position.
Spider tries to bench press Tog off him but Tog keeps the position.
Tog is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Spider will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Spider can't do much from the bottom here.

Tog is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Spider is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Tog prevents Spider from escaping the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spider on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
You can see the frustration on Spider's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Spider is looking to regain half guard here but Tog keeps moving and retains side control.

Spider is trying to escape the position but Tog is controlling the position.
Tog landing a few strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spider is looking for a sweep.
Spider is trying to control Tog's posture but Tog avoids it.
Tog really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Spider. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tog controls the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Neil Tog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Anderson Spider's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Spider tries to buck Tog off but Tog is having none of it.

Spider is trying to control Tog's posture but Tog avoids it.
A lull in the action here.

Tog tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tog has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tog gets to mount! Spider was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Tog controlling his opponent.

Tog is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Spider can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Spider is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Spider is just holding on here. Tog manages to take his back.
Spider tries to escape the position.

Tog is persistently looking for the submission but Spider is defending it well.
A bit of a pause in the action here. Tog controlling the positon.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Spider rolls, trying to escape but Tog keeps control of the position.

Tog tightening his grip on Spider, looking for the choke.

And that's the end of the fight!
Neil Tog comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Tog has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
