The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura is looking to score with low kicks.
Nakamura tries to bum rush Reincarneited with a series of wild strikes but Reincarneited uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reincarneited lands a leg kick that knocks Nakamura off balance momentarily.

Nakamura pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Reincarneited steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Nakamura. That one must have hurt.
A solid leg kick lands there for Nakamura.

Nakamura has closed the distance and engaged Reincarneited in a clinch.
Reincarneited lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Nakamura scores with a nice hook to the head.
Reincarneited goes for a takedown attempt but Nakamura pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hiro Nakamura has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helio Reincarneited.

Nakamura gets caught napping as Reincarneited dives in and scores a takedown. Nakamura manages to retain guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nakamura wants to sweep here but Reincarneited controlling him for the moment.

Nakamura manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nakamura fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nakamura can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Reincarneited is looking to escape.
Reincarneited is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
