Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gegard Mousasi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tek Jansen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Tek Jansen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gegard Mousasi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tek Jansen!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mousasi throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Jansen was covering up waiting for the punch and Mousasi finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jansen is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Mousasi defends well.
Mousasi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jansen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jansen trying to keep a closed guard but Mousasi is proving a slippery customer.
Mousasi lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mousasi connects with a nice short shot to Jansen's temple.

Gegard Mousasi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Mousasi shoots in and bounces Jansen off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Mousasi scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Jansen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Mousasi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Mousasi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Jansen is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Mousasi has his hands clasped together but Jansen extends an breaks Mousasi's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Jansen.
