Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Eddie McDonald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zack The Ghost Rider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think McDonald might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to March of Cambreadth. Eddie McDonald has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Eddie McDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Zack The Ghost Rider! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonald shoots in but The Ghost Rider avoids the takedown attempt easily. The Ghost Rider blocks a head kick by McDonald.
The Ghost Rider throws out a token jab with nothing on it. McDonald misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

McDonald darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. McDonald frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The Ghost Rider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McDonald. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. McDonald controlling from the full mount. McDonald is trying to take his opponent's back.
McDonald takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The Ghost Rider tries to lock up and control but McDonald gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonald stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. McDonald wants to clinch. McDonald fails with an attempt to clinch.
McDonald slips a jab from The Ghost Rider. McDonald drives through with a takedown into guard. McDonald stops The Ghost Rider from standing up. McDonald drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and McDonald jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. McDonald won't allow The Ghost Rider to get back to his feet. The Ghost Rider is working an open guard so McDonald takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. The Ghost Rider avoids the head kick by McDonald.
McDonald is breathing heavily. McDonald tries to clinch but The Ghost Rider is having none of it. McDonald is looking to clinch but The Ghost Rider is avoiding it.

McDonald tries to clinch up but The Ghost Rider circles away and keeps his distance. The Ghost Rider pushes McDonald up against the cage in a clinch. McDonald misses with a knee to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McDonald throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but The Ghost Rider blocks it with crossed arms. McDonald misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from The Ghost Rider.
The Ghost Rider takes an elbow to the temple. The Ghost Rider wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. McDonald tries a knee to the head but The Ghost Rider blocks it.
The Ghost Rider escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! McDonald looking for a guillotine here but The Ghost Rider defends easily.
McDonald looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The Ghost Rider must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The Ghost Rider wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of McDonald's closed guard. He's half up but McDonald has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! McDonald pivots and extends the arm, The Ghost Rider falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by McDonald! Well done that man!
