Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jayceon Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and General Zod (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by Put you on the Game. Jayceon Taylor has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, John Roberts and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zod moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Taylor doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Zod changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Zod tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Taylor was well out of range. Poor timing from Zod.

Zod moves out of range as Taylor throws a body kick.

Taylor is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zod.

General Zod seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Taylor fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Zod manages to avoid it.
Zod scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Taylor doesn't seem bothered though.
Taylor goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Zod wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Taylor takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Taylor tries to move into range but Zod moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Zod connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Zod throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zod lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Zod goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Taylor works the jab nicely.

Taylor lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Zod scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Taylor gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Zod.

Zod lunges at Taylor with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Taylor's hand.
Taylor has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Zod throws a right and a left that Taylor avoids nicely.

General Zod seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Zod lands with a shot to the body.
Zod moves into range and connects with a jab.

Zod throws a series of strikes that have Taylor backpedaling.

Zod lands a nice hook to Taylor's body. Taylor takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Zod lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Zod clobbers Taylor with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Taylor lands with a thumping leg kick.
Taylor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Taylor looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Zod throws a right and a left that both miss.
Zod moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Taylor gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Taylor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Zod. That did some damage!

Taylor walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Zod's corner calls for a 1-2. Zod obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Zod throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Taylor gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Taylor is rocked!
Taylor gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Zod gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Taylor is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:43 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). General Zod!
