Russell throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Russell swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Russell looks to land a combination but Pratt avoids it well.
A head kick from Pratt lands but Russell takes it in his stride.

Russell tries to clinch up but Pratt circles away and keeps his distance.

Russell closes the distance but Pratt moves to the side
and Pratt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Russell throws a hook but Pratt avoids it easily.

Russell takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Pratt lands a nice hook to Russell's body. Russell takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Russell falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pratt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pratt is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Pratt lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A nice inside leg kick there by Pratt. That's going to slow Russell down.
Russell closes the distance and clinches.
Pratt breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Pratt lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Russell ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Russell is looking to clinch but Pratt is avoiding it.
Pratt throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Russell stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oooh a lovely combination from Russell sends Pratt down but not out. Russell dives into side control looking to finish.
Pratt is rocked!
Russell looks gassed!
Russell lands a strong strike to the head of Pratt. That's dazed him! Russell looking to finish here. Pratt is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Russell lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kent Russell!
