Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Leland Chapman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Krzysztof Wojciechowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chapman's entrance music is Dog the Bounty Hunter (Theme Song). A fine choice. Wojciechowski has chosen Carl Orff - Carmina Burana as his entrance music. Krzysztof Wojciechowski will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Leland Chapman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Krzysztof Wojciechowski!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Reed Andrews and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wojciechowski fails with the takedown
and Wojciechowski takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Wojciechowski doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Chapman counters with a nice low kick that buckles Wojciechowski's knee momentarily.
Chapman dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Wojciechowski. That did some damage!
Chapman connects with a leg kick. Wojciechowski looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Chapman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Wojciechowski napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Chapman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chapman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Chapman postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wojciechowski regains half guard there - taking advantage of Chapman's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chapman is trying to control. Wojciechowski wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Chapman looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Wojciechowski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Wojciechowski is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Chapman's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Chapman's back!

Wojciechowski is persistently looking for the submission but Chapman is defending it well.

Wojciechowski has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
Wojciechowski is trying to stick to Chapman's back but Chapman is turning into Wojciechowski. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Wojciechowski's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Chapman.
Chapman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wojciechowski swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Chapman throws an elbow that misses. Wojciechowski uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chapman's guard. Nice move by Wojciechowski!

Wojciechowski wants to pass the guard but Chapman is keeping the position.
Wojciechowski wants to control from the top but Chapman keeps moving.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Chapman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

so Chapman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Chapman slips nicely into half guard.
Chapman is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

Wojciechowski is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Chapman pulls his head out easily.

Chapman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wojciechowski keeps working.

The fighters are battling for position here. Wojciechowski manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Chapman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Chapman accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

and Chapman counters with a low kick, right behind Wojciechowski 's knee.
Chapman throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Wojciechowski sees it coming and avoids it easily.

That kick from Chapman tenderised Wojciechowski's leg. Wojciechowski is trying to keep his angry face on.

Chapman drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Chapman swings around for an armbar but Wojciechowski sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Chapman's guard.

Chapman has control of Wojciechowski's left arm, preventing Wojciechowski from doing any damage.
Chapman is trying to keep Wojciechowski in close.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Chapman seems keen to control Wojciechowski's posture.

Leland Chapman has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Leland Chapman is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Chapman.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Chapman scores with a sloppy right hand. Wojciechowski should have avoided that one.

and Chapman counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Well Chapman has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
