Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johnny Knoxville!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Joseph Jones and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davies throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Knoxville.
Knoxville shoots in but no luck this time.
Davies blocks a head kick by Knoxville.
Knoxville fails with a takedown attempt.
A slapping leg kick lands for Knoxville.
Knoxville changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davies tries to avoid it but Knoxville manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davies to the ground. Davies escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
James Davies has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Knoxville.
Davies shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Knoxville as he jumps to the side.
A low kick from Davies is predictable there

and Knoxville counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Davies!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Knoxville has control of Davies's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Davies regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Davies wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Knoxville.
Davies is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Knoxville with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Knoxville is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Davies is surviving well by controlling Knoxville's body position as best he can.

Knoxville is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Davies can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
