Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Markus Justice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Talley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Justice looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Markus Justice has been cut.
Justice shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Talley pinned against the cage. Talley gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Justice shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Talley as he avoids it easily.
Justice avoids a punch combination nicely.
Justice throws a sloppy head kick and Talley moves out of range easily.
Talley uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Justice.
Justice cracks a nice hook into Talley's ribs.
Talley tries to clinch there but Justice circles away.
Justice looks to land a right hand but Talley moved out of range.
A shot to the body from Justice misses
and Talley counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Justice cracks Talley with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Talley connects with a body shot that sends Justice's belly button to the back.
Justice is breathing heavily.
Justice fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Talley closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Talley cracks Justice with a nice body shot.

Talley tries to work over Justice's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Talley can't find room to land a body shot as Justice controls the action.
Talley tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Justice's elbow.
Talley digs a right hand into Justice's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Justice's gas tank.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Talley counters with an inside leg kick.
James Talley seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Justice slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Talley tries to close the distance and clinch up but Justice swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Talley throws a left that rocks Justice and follows with a right that sends him tumbling to the canvas! Talley dives into side control, looking to finish! Can Justice regain composure!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Talley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Talley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Oh Justice is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Justice is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Justice seems to have got his legs back now.
Talley works to advance to full mount. Justice defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Justice is trying desperately to improve position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Talley moves to back control.
Talley working for the choke.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Talley is persistently looking for the submission but Justice is defending it well.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A lull in the action here.
Well, with Talley on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Justice is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

James Talley was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
