Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Smeagol Trahald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Buck Ewing!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Russell Pearce and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ewing lands a body shot.
Ewing tries to score a power double leg takedown but Trahald sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ewing somewhat.
Trahald jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Good exchange - Ewing coming out on top.

It looks like Smeagol Trahald has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ewing throws a solid leg kick but Trahald takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ewing.

Trahald shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Trahald showed some decent athleticism there.
Ewing keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
Ewing regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Trahald.
Ewing controls Trahald momentarily but Trahald frees himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ewing is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Ewing might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Trahald kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Ewing preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ewing manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Trahald manages to get himself to full guard.
Ewing is pushing down on Trahald's leg trying to pass to half guard. Trahald is fighting to maintain full guard but Ewing has managed to sneak the leg through.
Ewing landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Ewing moves into full mount! Trahald won't be happy about that!
The referee warns Trahald that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ewing working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Trahald turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Ewing off and cradles Trahald's limp body as Ewing celebrates with his corner.
