Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Firnanda Talha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Johns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Firnanda Talha has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Firnanda Talha seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns throws a nice looking combination but Talha bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Trent Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Talha blocks a head kick by Johns.
Talha circles away from the clinch attempt

and Talha counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Talha.

Talha has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Johns clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Talha lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Talha.

It looks like Trent Johns has been cut.

Talha is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Johns knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Johns for a finish.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Johns controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Talha wants to control but Johns is keeping busy.
Talha punches Johns on the ear.
Talha lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Talha connects with a couple of big shots that have Johns covering up! Oh, this looks bad for Johns! Talha fires away with several more unanswered shots and the referee has no choice but to step in! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

After winning the bout, Firnanda Talha thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
