Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brick Tamlin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyril Kivel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cyril Kivel is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brick Tamlin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cyril Kivel!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kivel falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Tamlin to counter with a crisp jab.
Kivel misses with a leg kick.
Kivel just misses with a punch to the body.

and Tamlin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kivel's guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tamlin throws a strike but Kivel rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tamlin pulls Kivel in to control the position.
Tamlin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kivel on the ground.

Brick Tamlin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cyril Kivel.

Kivel tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Tamlin avoids it.
Kivel is trying to drag Tamlin to the mat but Tamlin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Kivel misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Tamlin.

Tamlin gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Kivel regains guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Brick Tamlin just wasn't active enough.
Kivel tries to close the distance and clinch but Tamlin swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kivel tries to score a body lock takedown but Tamlin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tamlin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kivel swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Kivel is looking for a sweep. Tamlin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Tamlin takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Kivel is refusing to be controlled, as Tamlin sits in half guard.
Tamlin works his foot free and advances to mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That has opened up Cyril Kivel's cut even more.
Tamlin unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Kivel wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Tamlin celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brick Tamlin!
