Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Toon Wing Sum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronald Belford Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Scott is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Big Balls by AC/DC. Toon Wing Sum has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Toon Wing Sum! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronald Belford Scott! The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sum throws a combination that misses and Scott counters with a one-two to the body. Sum slips a jab and a cross from Scott.

Scott throws an off balance right hand
and Sum counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Sum drops down looking for an ankle pick but Scott pulls his leg out and moves away.
Toon Wing Sum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Scott thuds a left hand into Sum's body. Sum instigates a clinch. Sum goes for a takedown in the clinch but Scott prevents it.
Scott swings wildly with an uppercut but Sum uses good head movement to avoid it. Sum has picked Scott up - he's going for a ride! Sum dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Scott is trying to control but can't.
Scott looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Sum pushes past his half guard into mount! Scott is trying to escape the mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Scott wants to control but Sum is having none of it. Sum has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Scott's face.
Sum is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Scott can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Scott is in all sorts of trouble here.
Sum landing strikes from the mount. Sum scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Scott really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sum. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sum raining down hammerfists from mount. Sum has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sum loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Scott scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Sum land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Sum stands and salutes the crowd.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Toon Wing Sum! Our winner, Toon Wing Sum, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
