Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Russell comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dysfunctional-Tech N9ne kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Russell's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Russell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Man manages to get himself to full guard.
Man pulls Russell in close to prevent any damage.

Russell gets to his feet - Man follows without any prompting.
Russell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Man.
Russell looks to land a combination but Man avoids it well.

The fighters circle momentarily. Russell darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Man displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Russell throws out the jab.
Russell walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Russell tries to bum rush Man with a series of wild strikes but Man uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Man dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Man throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Russell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Man is in Russell's guard.

Russell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Man gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Man keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Russell's head.

Russell working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Man doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Man manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Russell had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Man defends it easily.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Man lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Russell looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Man has picked Russell up and slammed him! Russell can't keep hold of the triangle and Man manages to pass to side control!

Man cracks Russell with a big right hand but Russell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Man! Russell is hurt baaadly! Man is firing away with more strikes - Russell is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
