Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Concrete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Lawry! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Franklyn Lucas and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lawry with a poor takedown and Concrete counters with a two punch combo. Lawry misses with a takedown attempt - Concrete sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Lawry shoots in and drives through. Concrete sprawls well. Jack Concrete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Lawry. Lawry shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Concrete pinned against the cage. Concrete gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lawry has a takedown stuffed. Concrete moves out of range as Lawry strikes. A punch combination from Concrete misses. That's one minute gone in the round. Concrete defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Lawry. Lawry doesn't succeed with the takedown enabling Concrete to counter with a crisp jab. Concrete misses with a series of wild punches.
Concrete shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Concrete can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Lawry is looking to escape. Concrete stands up from mount. Strange move. Lawry fails to land with a series of punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Concrete lands a jab to Lawry's midsection. Lawry takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
This has been an exciting period of action! Lawry shoots and misses and Concrete counters with a stiff right hand. Concrete works Lawry's body with a nice hook. Concrete dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lawry looks gassed! Lawry fails with the takedown and Concrete counters with a nice uppercut. Concrete keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Lawry is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Concrete cracks Lawry with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Concrete cracks Lawry with an open hand slap.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jack Concrete just wasn't active enough. Concrete scores with a hook to the body. Lawry takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Concrete shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Lawry's guard. Concrete showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Concrete leaves Lawry with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A cross from Concrete lands. Concrete scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Lawry slips a jab and a cross from Concrete.
Concrete misses with a hook. Lawry ducked under it nicely. Concrete throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lawry's waist but Lawry gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Concrete off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawry takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Mike Lawry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Sloppy strikes from Concrete. Those never looked like landing. Concrete bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lawry's head backwards. Concrete scores with a decent looking hook. Nice uppercut lands for Concrete. That snapped Lawry's head back.
Lawry misses with a takedown and Concrete counters with a nice body shot. Lawry is breathing heavily. Lawry gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Concrete cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Jack Concrete has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Lawry. Concrete thows a body shot but no joy. Concrete cracks Lawry with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Lawry tries to bum rush Concrete with a series of wild strikes but Concrete uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lawry has his takedown stuffed and Concrete counters with a takedown into side control. Lawry seems a little lost for a moment, as Concrete dominates the positioning. Lawry is not content to let Concrete control the position. Concrete wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lawry, who protects the arm well.
