Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dark Matter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Balboa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye Of The Tiger. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dark Matter!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Bruno Lombardi and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Matter shoots in but Balboa avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Matter fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Matter takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Matter looks gassed!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Balboa scores with a hook to the body. Matter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Balboa lands with a good body shot.
Balboa lands a big uppercut and Matter crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Matter looks OK. Balboa waves Matter back to his feet!
It looks like Dark Matter has been cut.
Matter is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. Balboa doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Matter crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Matter's bad books for that mishap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Michael Balboa!
