Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Trout (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dexter Lampley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kevin Trout! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dexter Lampley! The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Trout breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lampley displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Trout. Lampley drives through and clinches with Trout against the cage.

Lampley throws a punch but it's blocked by Trout. Trout has Lampley pressed against the cage.
Lampley is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Trout gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Trout gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Trout tries to pass to full mount but Lampley defends it. Lampley is looking to improve his position.
Trout frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Kevin Trout. Lampley shoots in but Trout avoids the takedown attempt easily. Lampley dives in and grabs Trout's left leg, looking for a takedown. Trout pushes down on Lampley's head and hops out. Trout has managed to clinch.
