Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aloe Toosh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fernando Ranallo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Toosh might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to dollar. Aloe Toosh had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.6lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Aloe Toosh could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Fernando Ranallo's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ranallo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Toosh tries to sprawl but Ranallo drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Ranallo is looking to pass Toosh's guard but actually Toosh recovers to full guard.
Toosh is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ranallo tries to control Toosh's body but Toosh pushes him off. Ranallo squirms to his side and now Toosh has his back!

Toosh closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ranallo to the mat! Ranallo manages to get full guard.

Toosh has his foot on Ranallo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ranallo works his way back into a safe position though.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ranallo. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Toosh isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ranallo stacks Toosh on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ranallo!

Well Ranallo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
