The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nevinski throws a combination that misses
and Pitt cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Pitt loads up on a big right hand but Nevinski slips the punch.
Nevinski misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nevinski tries to bum rush Pitt with a series of wild strikes but Pitt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

enabling Pitt to counter with a crisp jab.
Nevinski ducks under a wild hook from Pitt.
Pitt tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nevinski was well out of range. Poor timing from Pitt.
Sloppy strikes from Pitt. Those never looked like landing.

and Nevinski counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Pitt lands with a straight right. Nevinski didn't see that one coming.

Nevinski looks to land a combination. Pitt sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Nevinski takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pitt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pitt moves into the clinch.
Pitt misses with a hook from the clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Pitt.
A short left from Pitt.
Pitt lands a hook that snaps the head of Nevinski backwards.
Pitt misses with a punch on the inside.
Nice body punch from Pitt - that landed with a thud.
Pitt lands a shoulder strike.

Nevinski is trying to break the clinch but Pitt is controlling him.
Nevinski is looking to break free of the clinch but Pitt has double underhooks.
Pitt lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pitt pushes Nevinski against the cage. Pitt is working some dirty boxing. Pitt pushes off with a quick right hook! Nevinski goes down! Nevinski tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pitt moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
