Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alexander the Great (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Douglas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). the Great's entrance music is Adiemus. A fine choice. The crowd seem to be enjoying Douglas's choice of entrance music: Rocky's Theme. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
the Great turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
the Great tries a head kick but it misses.
Douglas misses with a telegraphed body shot
and the Great counters with a slapping leg kick.
Douglas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with the Great, pushing him back against the cage.
Douglas tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
the Great wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Douglas throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Douglas misses with an elbow strike.
the Great blocks an uppercut.
Douglas has a couple of punches blocked by the Great.
the Great on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Douglas throws an elbow that misses.
Douglas throws a head punch that misses.
Douglas lands a body shot in the clinch.
the Great blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Douglas tries to throw a body punch but the Great avoids it by throwing Douglas back against the cage.

Douglas swings wildly with an uppercut but the Great uses good head movement to avoid it.

Douglas shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. the Great eats them both and turns towards Douglas to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
It looks like Alexander the Great has been cut.

the Great throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Douglas looks gassed!
the Great drops Douglas with a huge uppercut! Douglas drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. the Great is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
