Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Hughes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jim Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Glenn Hughes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jim Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Morrison rushes Hughes and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Morrison escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hughes tries to clinch but Morrison is having none of it.
Morrison misses with a wild combination.
Hughes tries to clinch up but Morrison circles away and keeps his distance.
Hughes slips a jab from Morrison.
Morrison has a takedown stuffed.
Hughes tries to clinch there but Morrison circles away.
No luck for Morrison with that takedown attempt.
Morrison swings for the body but Hughes moves out of range.
Morrison fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hughes avoids it really well and circles away.
Glenn Hughes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jim Morrison.
Morrison swats away the attempt to clinch by Hughes.
Hughes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Morrison manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Morrison misses with a few strikes there.

Horrible takedown by Morrison or perhaps it was just good defense by Hughes which made him look bad.
Hughes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Hughes has managed to clinch.
Morrison tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Hughes pushes off an throws an elbow but Morrison leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Hughes really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Morrison has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hughes uses from the top position.
Hughes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Morrison is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hughes is aware though and is defending well.
Morrison is trying to control the position from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Morrison is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Hughes is controlling him.

Hughes is posturing up here but Morrison has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Hughes tries to roll out but it's too tight and Hughes has to tap! Slick submission there by Morrison!
