Key kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Till I Collapse - Eminem. Takaki has chosen Kagaya, Shu, Takaki - Alexey Rybnikov as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kichiro Takaki!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Key jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Key moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Kichiro Takaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takaki tests Key's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Key throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Takaki uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Key has time to react.
Key throws a series of punches but Takaki avoids them all with ease.
Takaki lands a body shot.
Takaki tries to clinch up but Key circles away and keeps his distance.

Takaki lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Takaki throws a front kick that sends Key stumbling back into the cage.
Takaki stuns Key with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Takaki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Key manages to avoid it.
Key takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Takaki throws a sloppy head kick and Key moves out of range easily.
Takaki throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Takaki throws a body kick that misses.
Takaki punishes Key's body with a nice straight punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Takaki misses with a body kick.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Takaki throws a sloppy head kick and Key moves out of range easily.
Key waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takaki.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Key throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Key throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Takaki sees it coming and avoids it easily.

A decent looking cross lands there for Key.
Key looks to land a combination but Takaki avoids it well.
Takaki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Key has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

and Takaki counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Key throws a body punch but Takaki moves out of range.

Takaki scores with a hook to the body. Key takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Takaki takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Takaki keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Key tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Takaki was well out of range. Poor timing from Key.
Key throws a jab but it's blocked by Takaki.
A solid leg kick lands there for Takaki.
Takaki swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Key fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Takaki manages to avoid it.
Key misses with a hook. Takaki ducked under it nicely.

Takaki throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Kichiro Takaki seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Takaki lands with a straight right. Key didn't see that one coming.
Takaki blocks a jab.
Takaki throws out a powerful jab.
Takaki throws a head kick but Key moves out of range.
Key looks to score with a jab to the body but Takaki is just out of range.
Key takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Key blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Key lands a big right hand that drops Takaki! The killer instinct kicks in and Key finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Key!
