Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Drury (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jan Steel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drury comes to the cage accompanied by Hey John, What's Your Name Again?. Jan Steel has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Tim Drury's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Drury! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jan Steel! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Drury. Steel moves out of range as Drury throws a body kick.
Drury fails in his attempt to clinch. Drury fails to land the takedown. Steel on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
That's one minute gone in the round. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Steel keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Drury misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Drury. That's going to take a lot out of him. Drury moves in looking to clinch but Steel pushes him off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Drury fails with the takedown. Steel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Drury goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Drury throws a leg kick but Steel moved away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Steel stuffs the takedown attempt from Drury. Drury gets slowly back to his feet. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Steel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jan Steel is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Drury misses with a few strikes there.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Drury fails with the takedown. Steel avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drury pivots, looking for a leg kick but Steel is out of range and Drury settles back down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jan Steel dominated that round. That's time! Drury's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Drury fails to land the takedown. Drury shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Steel as he jumps to the side. Drury shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Steel but Steel pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tim Drury. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Drury motions for Steel to come forward. Drury throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Tim Drury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Steel showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Drury.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Drury drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Drury tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Steel wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drury is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Steel is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Drury decides to stand back up. Drury steps back and let's Steel get back to his feet. Some bone on bone action there as Steel checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Drury misses with a head kick.

Drury shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Steel pinned against the cage. Steel gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Drury shoots in but Steel avoids the takedown attempt easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Drury misses with a wild combination.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Drury throws a leg kick but Steel sees it coming and checks it nicely. Drury misses with a series of wild punches.
