Job is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: I Need A Dollar. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Job!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Powers changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Job looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Powers looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Job is trying to improve his position.
Powers scoring with punches from side control.
Powers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Job keeps working.
Job struggling a bit here.

Powers is trying to get an arm triangle but Job is defending well.
Powers in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Powers postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Powers tries for a kimura but Job is defending well.
Powers tries to score with some ground and pound. Job controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Job tries to bench press Powers off him but Powers keeps the position.
Powers lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Powers lands an elbow.

Job tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Powers wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Powers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Job keeps working.
Job can't do much from the bottom here.
Powers misses with the ground and pound.
An elbow from Powers crashes against the mat.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Job sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Powers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Job keeps working.
Well, if Powers is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Powers's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Job trying to keep a closed guard but Powers is proving a slippery customer.
Powers stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Job swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Job wants to sweep but no luck.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Job keeping moving, preventing Powers from controlling successfully.
Job tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Austin Powers dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Powers swinging wildly here.
Job blocks a jab.
Powers misses with an uppercut. Job saw that one coming.
Powers bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Powers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Job throws a left and a right that both miss
and Powers counters with a straight right hand.

Powers connects with a vicious head kick that knocks Job to the floor! Powers dives in looking for the finish!


Job is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Powers moves nicely into side control.
Job is still in real trouble! Can Powers finish him?
Powers taking a breather here.
Job is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Powers's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Powers is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Job wants to improve his position but Powers is controlling well.
Powers is trying to control. Job wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Job is breathing heavily.
Powers sitting and controlling from the half guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Austin Powers just wasn't active enough.
Job misses with a double jab
and Powers counters with a good low kick that Job was not able to check.
Powers moves in close and cracks Job with a massive right hand! Job, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Powers!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Austin Powers!
Austin Powers really struggled to get his t-shirt was on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fossington & Blythe: Gentlemen's Fight Attire logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
