Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Timo Yo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shael Connen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Connen has chosen Rock You Like a Hurricane as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Timo Yo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shael Connen!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Connen.
Connen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Connen misses with an uppercut
and Yo counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Connen misses with a hook. Yo ducked under it nicely.
Yo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Connen.
Connen walks into a stiff left hand from Yo.
Yo lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Connen throws an overhand right that lands on Yo's shoulder, as Yo tries to avoid the shot.
Yo connects with the punch.
Connen connects with the punch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Connen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Connen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Yos jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Yo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Connen.
Nice body punch from Yo.
Yo lands with an overhand left.
Yo thuds his right hand into Connen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Yo misses with a body shot.
Yo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Connen waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Yo.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Connen pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Connen slips under a jab.
BOOM! Connen lands a beautiful left hook that drops Yo. Yo tries to recover but Connen is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Yo lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shael Connen!
