Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Thiago Rizzo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chinkpanzee McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGee has chosen Angry Chinese Woman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from McGee.
McGee shoots in looking for a takedown. Rizzo tries to sprawl out of it but McGee keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rizzo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Rizzo drops McGee with a nice combination! Rizzo dives into McGee's guard, looking to finish!
McGee is rocked!

McGee is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
McGee is looking for a triangle but Rizzo pushes his legs off easily.
Rizzo won't allow McGee to sweep him here.
Rizzo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
McGee seems to have recovered his senses.

Rizzo wants to stand but McGee is controlling his posture from full guard.

McGee working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rizzo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rizzo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Rizzo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

McGee has his foot on Rizzo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rizzo works his way back into a safe position though.

McGee throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Rizzo escapes and throws McGee's legs to the side, diving into side control!

McGee is looking to reverse the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rizzo wants to stand but McGee has his arm trapped.
McGee tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
McGee fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Thiago Rizzo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chinkpanzee McGee.
Rizzo tries to close the distance and clinch but McGee swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
McGee shoots in and bounces Rizzo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
McGee drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rizzo manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now McGee has Rizzo in his guard.
McGee has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Rizzo doesn't defend quickly enough and McGee has managed to lock this one up! Can Rizzo escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to McGee on a fantastic submission victory.
