Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evgeni Novikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Skeeter Gator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gator has chosen Drop it Like its Hot as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gator fails with the takedown
and Novikov counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Gator moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Novikov lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Gator looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Novikov scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Gator tries to roll over but Novikov keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Novikov is working for a submission of some sort.
Gator tries to get to full guard but Novikov has control of the leg.
Novikov wants to take a breather but Gator is having none of it.
Novikov winds up and cracks Gator with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Novikov moves nicely into side control.
Novikov is putting a hurting on Gator here, landing some big shots from side control.

Novikov working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Gator is letting Novikov control him for a moment.
Novikov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Gator has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gator is trying to get back to half guard.
Gator is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
You can see the frustration on Gator's face as Novikov controls the position.
Gator tries to improve position but can't.

Novikov moves into full mount!
Novikov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Gator can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Novikov looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Gator is wriggling around trying to escape.
BOOM! Novikov connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Novikov connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Gator takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Novikov's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
