Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Han Jambon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Mercurious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jambon misses with a straight left.
Jambon misses with a lunging right hand
and Mercurious counters with a left to the body.
Jambon connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Mercurious momentarily.
Mercurious misses with a body shot.
Mercurious swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jambon misses the shot to the body.
Mercurious swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Jambon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Mike Mercurious has been cut.
Jambon scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Mercurious doesn't seem bothered though.
A big left from Jambon misses.
Jambon drops Mercurious with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mercurious looks back up at him and smiles so Jambon waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Mercurious is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Mercurious throws a combination that misses
and Jambon rattles Mercurious with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Mercurious tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Jambon dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Mercurious stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Han Jambon!
