Gracie's corner calls for a 1-2. Gracie obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gracie cracks Smith with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Gracie throws a right and a left that Smith avoids nicely.
Smith throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gracie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Smith!
Smith trying desperately to get to his feet.
Gracie is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Smith is surviving well by controlling Gracie's body position as best he can.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gracie working for a submission but Smith is keeping him at bay.
Gracie jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Smith manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Smith has escaped the position, nice work there.
Gracie prevents Smith from escaping the position.
Gracie looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Gracie is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Smith is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
