Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cain Colbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Baratheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cain Colbert! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Robert Baratheon! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colbert throws an overhand right that lands on Baratheon's shoulder, as Baratheon tries to avoid the shot. Colbert throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baratheon sees it coming and avoids it easily. Colbert buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Baratheon avoids a kick to the body.
Colbert fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Baratheon, pushing him back against the cage. Colbert misses with a punch on the inside.
Baratheon swings wildly with an uppercut but Colbert uses good head movement to avoid it. Colbert doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Colbert lands a hook that snaps the head of Baratheon backwards. Baratheon wants the takedown. Colbert is fighting it off but Baratheon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Colbert's guard against the cage. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Colbert is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Baratheon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Colbert swivels though and keeps the full guard. Colbert not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Colbert is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colbert tries to pass to full mount but Baratheon defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baratheon works his way to full guard. Good work. Colbert tries to free his leg and advance position but Baratheon is retaining full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Colbert is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baratheon wants to sweep here but Colbert controlling him for the moment. Colbert scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Baratheon preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Colbert throws a strike but Baratheon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Baratheon tries to free his leg and advance position but Colbert is retaining full guard. Colbert is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colbert looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Baratheon looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Colbert is trying to control the position but Baratheon postures up. Baratheon with a nice head shot there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Colbert pulls Baratheon in close to his closed guard and prevents Baratheon from doing any damage or advancing position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Colbert trying to control the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Cain Colbert just wasn't active enough. Colbert tries to close the distance and clinch but Baratheon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Colbert bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Colbert looks to land a left hand but Baratheon moved out of range nicely. Baratheon checks a low kick from Colbert.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baratheon lands a nice shot that snaps Colbert's head back.
Baratheon drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Baratheon lands a decent elbow from side control. Baratheon is looking to take a break and control but Colbert is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Colbert is trying to improve his position. Colbert takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Colbert is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Check out the look on Baratheon's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Baratheon works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Colbert tries to buck Baratheon off but Baratheon is having none of it. Baratheon working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Colbert is looking for a sweep. Colbert sneaks back into half guard. Baratheon wants to take a breather but Colbert is having none of it. Baratheon has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Baratheon winds up and cracks Colbert with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Colbert is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Baratheon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Baratheon prevents Colbert from improving his position. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Colbert is positioning himself well to prevent Baratheon advancing to mount. Baratheon moves nicely into side control. Colbert is trying to control Baratheon's posture but Baratheon avoids it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Baratheon dominated that round. That's time! Colbert's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Baratheon wants to clinch up but Colbert keeps it at a distance. Baratheon shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Baratheon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Colbert's head. Colbert moves into full guard.
Baratheon is fighting to break Colbert's control of his arms but Colbert is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Colbert working a defensive guard here.

Baratheon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Baratheon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Colbert's head.

Colbert is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Baratheon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Colbert wants to sweep here but Baratheon controlling him for the moment. Baratheon working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Colbert working a defensive guard here.
Baratheon postures up in Colbert's guard and throws a big left but Colbert blocks it. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Colbert is trying to control the position but Baratheon postures up. Baratheon lands a couple of digs. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Baratheon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Colbert has Baratheon pulled in close to control his posture. Colbert preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Baratheon is looking to work some ground and pound but Colbert has wrist control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Colbert slips under a jab. Colbert defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Baratheon. Colbert connects with a single shot there. Baratheon lands with a shot to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters circling - Baratheon throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Colbert fails to land with a series of punches.
Colbert ducks under a wild hook from Baratheon. Baratheon tests Colbert's chin there with a solid looking shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Colbert looks to land a right hand but Baratheon moved out of range.

Robert Baratheon seems to be getting the better of the standup. Colbert looks to land a right hand but Baratheon moved out of range. Colbert fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Baratheon throws a jab but it's blocked by Colbert. A swing and a miss from Colbert. Colbert takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Baratheon cracks Colbert with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Baratheon throws a body punch but Colbert moves out of range. Colbert works Baratheon's body with a nice hook. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That kick from Colbert tenderised Baratheon's leg. Baratheon is trying to keep his angry face on. Baratheon misses with a straight right. Baratheon slips a jab from Colbert. Colbert is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Baratheon. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Baratheon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Colbert looks to land a right hand but Baratheon moved out of range. Colbert misses with a straight right. A swing and a miss from Colbert. Nice straight punches there by Baratheon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Baratheon. Colbert lands with a straight right. Baratheon didn't see that one coming. Baratheon misses with a wild body shot. Colbert misses with an uppercut. Baratheon saw that one coming. Robert Baratheon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baratheon lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Baratheon lands an overhand right. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Baratheon moves out of range as Colbert strikes. A bone on bone clash there as Baratheon blocks the leg kick.
Baratheon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Colbert was well out of range. Poor timing from Baratheon. Baratheon throws a hook to the side of Colbert's head but Colbert sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Colbert bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Colbert takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Colbert shoots in looking for a takedown. Baratheon tries to sprawl out of it but Colbert keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Baratheon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Colbert misses the jab. Colbert connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Baratheon momentarily.
Colbert drops his hands momentarily and Baratheon takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Baratheon misses with a wild body shot. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Baratheon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Colbert has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Colbert and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Baratheon dives in and scores a takedown into Colbert's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Baratheon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Colbert utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Baratheon forces his way into half guard. Colbert tries to get to full guard but Baratheon has control of the leg. Baratheon wants to take a breather but Colbert is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Colbert has hold of Baratheon's hands but Baratheon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Robert Baratheon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Baratheon perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Colbert wants to control but Baratheon is keeping busy.

Robert Baratheon has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Baratheon ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Colbert tries to clinch there but Baratheon circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Colbert shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Baratheon but Baratheon pushes him off and we're back to square one. Colbert gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Baratheon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Colbert throws the kick towards the body but Baratheon avoids it. Baratheon works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Baratheon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Baratheon tries to advance to mount but can't. Colbert is trying to get back to half guard. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Cain Colbert has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Colbert struggling a bit here. Baratheon has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Baratheon tries to advance to mount but can't. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Colbert lands a head shot. Colbert throws a wild body kick that Baratheon sees coming a mile off.
And that's the end of the fight! Robert Baratheon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Baratheon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
