The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wynd swings for the body but Rhodes moves out of range.
Rhodes looks to clinch
and Wynd moves into the clinch.
Wynd blocks an elbow strike.
Wynd is struggling to control the position.
Wynd avoids a wild elbow strike from Rhodes.
Wynd lands a shoulder strike.
Rhodes pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Wynd's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Rhodes really is a fat lump.
Wynd connects with a body shot that sends Rhodes's belly button to the back.
Wynd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rhodes moves away.
Wynd drops Rhodes with a left right combo! Wynd follows him down to the ground into side control.
It looks like Dusty Rhodes has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Wynd cracks Rhodes with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Wynd immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rhodes is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Wynd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hector Wynd!
Hector Wynd tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
