Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey O Neil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Withrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). O Neil comes to the cage accompanied by Golden Brown. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
14 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mickey O Neil!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Withrow!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
O Neil throws a hook to the side of Withrow's head but Withrow sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Withrow throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
O Neil looks to land a left hand but Withrow moved out of range nicely.
A slapping leg kick lands for O Neil.
A big left from O Neil misses.
No joy there for O Neil, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Withrow checks the leg kick nicely there.
O Neil feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Withrow's calf.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Nice shot lands for O Neil.
It looks like Jack Withrow has been cut.
Jab, jab by O Neil - just one landing.
Withrow fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Withrow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
O Neil throws a leg kick
and Withrow counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round.
O Neil connects with a crisp jab.
Withrow moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mickey O Neil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Withrow lands a nice shot that snaps O Neil's head back.
O Neil throws a head kick that misses.
Withrow takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
O Neil lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Withrow is rocked!
Withrow has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by O Neil.
Withrow looks gassed!
O Neil moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Withrow walks into a stiff left hand from O Neil.
O Neil scores with the left hand. Withrow knows he should have avoided that one.
Withrow is still on wobbly legs! Can O Neil finish him?
Withrow on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by O Neil. O Neil obviously looking to wear him down.
Withrow seems to have recovered his senses.
Crunch! O Neil slams his shin into Withrow's torso.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
O Neil drops Withrow with a naaaaasty hook - Withrow is in real trouble here! O Neil dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey O Neil!
