Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Susanna Saukkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konoe Boganzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boganzi has chosen CkY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music. Konoe Boganzi will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Susanna Saukkonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Konoe Boganzi!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boganzi scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Saukkonen is trying to improve his position.
Saukkonen is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Boganzi's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Nice strikes from Boganzi there.
Saukkonen on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Saukkonen tries to get out of the position.
Boganzi uses his free foot to push down on Saukkonen's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Saukkonen.
Boganzi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Saukkonen can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Boganzi lands a big shot there that rocks Saukkonen but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Saukkonen is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Boganzi breaks from Saukkonen's wrist control and lands an elbow.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boganzi unloads with some shots from mount but Saukkonen bucks and avoids them well.

Saukkonen takes a decent strike to the side of the head.

Saukkonen tries to stand but Boganzi is controlling from the bottom.

Boganzi tries to get to full guard but Saukkonen has control of the leg.
Saukkonen wants to stand up but Boganzi has a hold of him and won't allow it.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Boganzi takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Boganzi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Saukkonen as he avoids it easily.
Saukkonen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boganzi shoots in and drives through. Saukkonen sprawls well.
Boganzi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Susanna Saukkonen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Konoe Boganzi.
Boganzi shoots for a double leg takedown but Saukkonen sprawls well. He's pushed Boganzi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Horrible takedown by Boganzi or perhaps it was just good defense by Saukkonen which made him look bad.

Boganzi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Saukkonen tries to close the distance and clinch but Boganzi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Boganzi shoots in for a takedown but Saukkonen shows good takedown defense.
Boganzi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Saukkonen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Saukkonen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boganzi swivels and escapes.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Saukkonen.
Saukkonen instigates a clinch.
Saukkonen could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Saukkonen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Saukkonen is pressed up against the cage. Boganzi has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Saukkonen down to the mat. Saukkonen avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Saukkonen throws a leg kick which misses Boganzi's front leg but catches the back leg as Boganzi tries to avoid it.

and Boganzi counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Saukkonen's guard now.
Boganzi pushes down on Saukkonen's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Boganzi lands a nice short elbow.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Boganzi throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Saukkonen kicks off Boganzi and gets to his feet.

Saukkonen tries to clinch but Boganzi moves out of range.
Boganzi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Saukkonen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Boganzi wants to get back to full guard.
Boganzi makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Saukkonen throws a head kick that misses.
Saukkonen scores with a one two! Boganzi had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Saukkonen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Boganzi but Boganzi pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Boganzi shoots for a double leg takedown but Saukkonen sprawls well. He's pushed Boganzi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Boganzi slips nicely into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Konoe Boganzi will probably get the nod.
That's time! Saukkonen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boganzi has a takedown stuffed.
Boganzi circles away from the clinch attempt
and Boganzi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Saukkonen won't be happy with that.
Saukkonen managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Boganzi.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boganzi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Saukkonen struggling a bit here.
Boganzi postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Saukkonen dodges the ground and pound from Boganzi.
Boganzi prevents Saukkonen from escaping the position.
Saukkonen trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Saukkonen lands a hook that stumbles Boganzi back into the cage. Saukkonen follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Boganzi to the canvas! Saukkonen pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Boganzi has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
