7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Prime Time! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Johnny Welsh! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Time throws a sloppy head kick and Welsh moves out of range easily. Time throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Time throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Welsh lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Prime Time has been cut. Welsh bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Time misses the shot to the body. Time finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Welsh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Time sees it coming and avoids it easily. A jab lands there for Welsh. Time throws a head kick but Welsh moves out of range.
Time defending well as Welsh loads up on a big left hand. Time avoids a punch combination nicely.

Decent striking displayed by Welsh there. Time misses the shot to the body. Welsh attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Time throws a nice inside leg kick. Welsh misses with the combination.
Welsh throws a right and a left that Time avoids nicely. Time buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. A punch combination from Welsh misses. Welsh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Welsh throws a jab when Time was well out of range. Time tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Welsh was well out of range. Poor timing from Time. Some wild striking there from Welsh.
Time misses with a wild body shot. Time throws a body punch but Welsh moves out of range. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Welsh misses with a hook. Time ducked under it nicely. No joy there for Welsh, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Time displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Welsh throws out the jab. Time gets a clinch. Time has Welsh pressed against the cage, preventing Welsh from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Welsh is trying to force a seperation but Time has the dominant position. Time tries to throw a body punch but Welsh avoids it by throwing Time back against the cage. Time lands a nice uppercut. Time lands a right hand that snaps the head of Welsh backwards. Time lands with a short shot to the head. Time misses with some punches.
Welsh is trying to break the clinch but Time is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Welsh wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Welsh looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Welsh is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Welsh wants to break the clinch but can't.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Welsh breaks from the clinch.
Welsh steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Time. Time throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Welsh on the side of the head. Time is looking to wear down Welsh with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Time lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Time lands with a kick to the temple. Welsh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Time lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Welsh takes one to the side of the head.
A punch combination from Welsh misses. Johnny Welsh is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Time scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Time misses with a wild body shot. Welsh throws a leg kick but Time sees it coming and moves out of range. Time looking to land some kicks to the body here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Welsh waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Time. Time staying out of range there. Time shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Welsh as he jumps to the side. Time misses with a jab, cross combination.
No luck for Time with that takedown attempt. Welsh just misses with a punch to the body.
Time dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Time checks a leg kick. Welsh throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Welsh cracks Time with a good jab. Time pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Prime Time seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Welsh on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A nice leg kick lands there from Time. Time just misses with a punch to the body.
Time is trying hard to land a takedown here. Welsh sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Prime Time. That's going to take a lot out of him. Time lands a leg kick that knocks Welsh off balance momentarily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Welsh, as that shot connected.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Welsh misses with a few strikes there.
Time walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Welsh checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Time pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Time uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Welsh. Time takes a swing at Welsh's ribcage but misses. Welsh scores with a nice right hand.

Time throws a shot from downtown. Welsh moves away and avoids it. Time shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Time looks to score with a jab to the body but Welsh is just out of range. Welsh takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Welsh looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Welsh tries to move into range but Time moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Welsh on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Time. Time obviously looking to wear him down.
Time takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Time lands a nice looking body kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Prime Time will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Prime Time's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Welsh misses with an uppercut. Time misses with a straight left. Prime Time is winning the standup battle so far. Welsh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Johnny Welsh is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Both fighters circling a little - Time finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Welsh's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Welsh on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Time drives through and clinches with Welsh against the cage.
Time goes for a takedown attempt but Welsh pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Good shot there by Time. Time feints and then cracks Welsh's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Welsh down. Time gets in close and instigates a clinch. Time misses with a punch on the inside.

Welsh is breathing heavily. A looping hook to the body misses from Time. Welsh does a little dance to reset his feet. Welsh moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Time bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Welsh's head backwards. Welsh takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Welsh throws a right hand that Time ducks under and follows up with a left that Time also avoids with ease. Time throws a front kick that sends Welsh stumbling back into the cage. Time dodges the punch combination from Welsh.
Time lands with a kick to the ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Time lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Time closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Time scores with a couple of short elbows. Time lands an elbow.
Welsh is rocked! Time cracks Welsh with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Time immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Welsh is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Time!
