Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Grissom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Simpson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Simpson's choice of entrance music: 4 Minutes to Lock down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grissom takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Simpson lands a right hook to the body.
Grissom is breathing heavily.
A head kick misses from Grissom.
Simpson fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Simpson looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Simpson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Grissom pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Grissom has a takedown stuffed.
Grissom swings for the body but Simpson moves out of range.
Grissom takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Simpson tries to clinch there but Grissom circles away.
A big head kick from Simpson and Grissom is sent sprawling to the canvas!

Simpson wants to control from the top but Grissom keeps moving.
Oh Grissom is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Simpson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Simpson drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Simpson seems to have locked his on tight now - Grissom screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Simpson, as he picks up the win!
