Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steven Neal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Durkin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steven Neal! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jacob Durkin! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Neal throws a leg kick but Durkin sees it coming and checks it nicely. Durkin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Neal as he jumps to the side. Neal ducks right into an uppercut from Durkin. Durkin looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Neal gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Durkin misses the jab. Neal gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Durkin has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Neal is proving hard to escape from. Neal is looking to stand up but Durkin isn't so interested in that idea.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durkin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Durkin's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Jacob Durkin. Durkin has managed to clinch.
Neal is trying to break the clinch but Durkin is controlling him. Neal looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Durkin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Jacob Durkin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neal circles away from the clinch attempt.
Neal misses with a head kick.
Durkin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Neal has time to react. Neal lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Neal pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Durkin lands with an uppercut that bounces Neal off the cage and back into range.
Neal is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Durkin decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Oh Neal is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Durkin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Neal to stand up. Durkin closes the distance and clinches. Neal looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Neal has had enough of the clinch but Durkin keeps him there for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Neal wants to break free but Durkin has control.
Neal lands an elbow that stopped Durkin in his tracks for a moment. Durkin breaks the clinch.
Durkin catches Neal with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Neal forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
