And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chad Brewster!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewster keeps the fight on the outside.
Kawasaki tries to close the distance and clinch but Brewster swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kawasaki doesn't manage to clinch there - Brewster circles away.
Kawasaki tries to clinch up but Brewster circles away and keeps his distance.
Brewster cracks Kawasaki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Brewster closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brewster lands in his opponent's guard.

Brewster in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Kawasaki tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Brewster!

After the fight, Chad Brewster was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
