Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedreiro Jiujiteiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodef Canmelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiujiteiro comes to the cage accompanied by Chão de Giz. Canmelianenko has chosen Emperor - The Loss And Curse Of Reverence as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Pedreiro Jiujiteiro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rodef Canmelianenko! The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Paulo Santos and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jiujiteiro throws a combination that misses and Canmelianenko counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Canmelianenko passes into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Canmelianenko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

That's one minute gone in the round. Jiujiteiro tries to get to full guard but Canmelianenko has control of the leg. Canmelianenko stalling away here and it's allowed Jiujiteiro to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Canmelianenko trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Canmelianenko sitting in guard here, content to control. Canmelianenko throws and elbow that misses. Jiujiteiro uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Canmelianenko's guard. Jiujiteiro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Jiujiteiro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Canmelianenko seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Canmelianenko is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jiujiteiro defends it well. Jiujiteiro wants to improve his position but Canmelianenko is controlling well.

Jiujiteiro tries to clinch up and Canmelianenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Horrible takedown by Jiujiteiro or perhaps it was just good defense by Canmelianenko which made him look bad. Jiujiteiro misses with a series of wild punches.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jiujiteiro throws a strike but Canmelianenko rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Canmelianenko wants to pass the guard but Jiujiteiro is keeping the position. Canmelianenko pushing down on Jiujiteiro's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Canmelianenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Rodef Canmelianenko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Jiujiteiro fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Canmelianenko circles away from the clinch attempt and Canmelianenko counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Jiujiteiro tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Canmelianenko scores with a takedown into Jiujiteiro's guard. Canmelianenko looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Canmelianenko slips nicely into half guard. Canmelianenko wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jiujiteiro keeps working. Jiujiteiro keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Canmelianenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jiujiteiro is just riding it out for now. Canmelianenko eventually gives up the hold. Canmelianenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Canmelianenko can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Pedreiro Jiujiteiro has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Canmelianenko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Rodef Canmelianenko is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Canmelianenko stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jiujiteiro swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Rodef Canmelianenko comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Canmelianenko has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
