Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Stevey Land!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paul Varelans!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Igor Prikhodko and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Varelans cracks a nice hook into Land's ribs.
A lazy left from Varelans finds it's target.
Land shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Varelans pinned against the cage. Varelans gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Varelans slaps away a takedown attempt from Land, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Land changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Varelans tries to avoid it but Land manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Varelans to the ground. Varelans escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stevey Land. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Varelans works Land's body with a nice hook.
Land is breathing heavily.
Varelans scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Stevey Land has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Land.
Varelans lands a jab to the head.
Nice straight punches there by Varelans. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Varelans.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Varelans, as that shot connected.
Land walks straight into a right hand from Varelans - that's dropped him! Varelans jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Land from any more punishment! Land complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Paul Varelans!
