Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ian Buttler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Days (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buttler comes to the cage accompanied by The Alan Parsons Project - Sirius . I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Eddie Days was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ian Buttler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddie Days! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Buttler circles away from the clinch attempt.
Buttler loads up on a big right hand but Days slips the punch. Days drives through with a takedown into Buttler's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Buttler manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Days manages to get himself to full guard.
Buttler knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Days on the ground. Days trying to control the position here. Days bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Buttler's guard. Days working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Days is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Days wants to control from the top but Buttler keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Days postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Days throws a big right hand that misses. Days wants to control from the top but Buttler keeps moving. Days is looking to work some ground and pound but Buttler has wrist control. Days controlling from the top position. Days wants to pass the guard but Buttler is keeping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Days trying to control the position from guard on top but Buttler is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Eddie Days has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Buttler ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Days moves away. Buttler throws a low kick but Days avoids it. Nice uppercut there from Buttler. Buttler is breathing heavily. Days changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Buttler tries to avoid it but Days manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Buttler to the ground. Buttler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Days gets the takedown into side control. Days working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Days looks up at the clock and then as Buttler takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Days smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buttler avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Days. Buttler is looking for a sweep. Days throws a strike aimed at the side of Buttler's head but Buttler avoids it well. Days wants to control but Buttler is keeping him busy. Buttler taking punishment in the form of punches.
Days tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Days cracks Buttler with an elbow. That is naaassty.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Buttler is not content to let Days control the position. Days working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Days is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Buttler's shoulder. That is not cool. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Days dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Days has Buttler up against the cage in a clinch.
Days will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Buttler up against the cage. Days breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ian Buttler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Days fails with the takedown. Days takes the fight into the clinch. Days is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Days escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
A low kick from Buttler is predictable there and Days counters with a nice body shot. Buttler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Days counters with a shoot takedown. Buttler fights it but they end up in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Days stands and throws Buttler's legs to the side, diving into side control. Buttler takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Days slows the pace down. Days tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Days has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Buttler on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Buttler tries to get out of the position. Days is trying to get an arm triangle but Buttler is defending well. Eddie Days has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Days tries for a kimura but Buttler is defending well. Buttler is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Days working the ground and pound.

Days tries to control but Buttler wriggling away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eddie Days showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Days fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Days throws a head kick that half lands.
It looks like Ian Buttler has been cut. Days has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Days rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Buttler moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Sloppy strikes from Buttler. Those never looked like landing. Days lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Buttler sprawling to the canvas. Days follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Buttler hang on?
Buttler is rocked! Days lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Buttler! More strikes land and this one is all over! Days jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:45 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Days!
