Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Getty Dirty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christopher Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dirty comes into the arena with Ridin' blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Jackson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dirty shoots in looking for a takedown but Jackson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dirty's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Jackson looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Jackson stuffs the takedown. Jackson tries to clinch and Dirty counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Jackson! Dirty goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Jackson is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dirty keeping moving, preventing Jackson from controlling successfully. Dirty keeping full guard, as Jackson tries to pass.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Christopher Jackson wasn't active enough on the ground. Jackson wants to clinch and Dirty counters with a takedown into side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Dirty off and has taken his back! Dirty is keeping busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Jackson is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Dirty knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Dirty for a finish. The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Jackson's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jackson working for a choke but Dirty is defending well. Jackson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Dirty staying busy and making it hard for Jackson to control. Dirty might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jackson missing with strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirty looking very determined here, making life difficult for Jackson.
Jackson has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Jackson is controlling the position but Dirty somehow manages to roll and ends up with half guard.

Jackson tries to clinch and Dirty counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jackson makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Jackson. Dirty drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jackson dives on top into guard. Jackson looking to pass the guard. Jackson wants to control from the top but Dirty keeps moving. Jackson throwing strikes but missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson postures up in Dirty's guard and throws a big left but Dirty blocks it. Jackson throws a big right hand that misses. Jackson won't allow Dirty to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Getty Dirty. Jackson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Jackson wants to clinch up but Dirty keeps it at a distance. Dirty blocks a head kick by Jackson.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dirty swats him away and circles back towards the center. Jackson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dirty shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jackson pinned against the cage. Jackson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dirty is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson fails with the takedown and Dirty counters with a nice double leg into side control. Jackson won't be happy with that.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirty swings around for an armbar but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dirty's guard. Jackson trying to control but Dirty is working from the bottom. Dirty on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dirty tries to get out of the position. Jackson won't allow Dirty to get back to his feet. Jackson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Jackson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dirty is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jackson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Getty Dirty. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dirty is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Jackson.
It looks like Getty Dirty has been cut. Jackson changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dirty looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jackson working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Jackson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

Christopher Jackson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Getty Dirty's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Jackson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Jackson tries to clinch there but Dirty circles away.

Jackson wants to clinch and Dirty counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jackson's guard now. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Dirty is controlling him. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dirty drops back, looking for a kneebar! Jackson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Jackson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Jackson!
That's one minute gone in the round. Jackson looking to control but instead Dirty has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Jackson stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dirty bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Dirty swings around for an armbar but Jackson sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Dirty's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jackson trying to stand up but can't free himself from Dirty's guard. Jackson pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dirty is keeping the position for now. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Dirty gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dirty postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Jackson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dirty, into his guard. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dirty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Jackson throwing strikes but missing. Jackson trying to control the position from guard on top but Dirty is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Christopher Jackson wasn't active enough on the ground. Jackson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Getty Dirty has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Christopher Jackson is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jackson throws a series of strikes that have Dirty backpedaling.
And that's the end of the fight! Christopher Jackson comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jackson has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
