Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rory MacDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Henry McDonough! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Tarja Halkonen and Roosa J�rvil�inen.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! MacDonald shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McDonough defends it nicely. MacDonald fails with the takedown
and McDonough counters with a nice double leg into half guard. McDonough slips a nice elbow through MacDonald's hands, connecting with MacDonald's forehead. MacDonald is trying to defend against the ground and pound but McDonough scores with a couple of nice shots.

It looks like Rory MacDonald has been cut. McDonough is figuring out what he wants to do next. This has been an exciting period of action! McDonough landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. McDonough is nestled in close to MacDonald, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. McDonough keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
McDonough is sneakily working for an arm triangle but MacDonald sees it coming and defends easily. McDonough is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McDonough sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. MacDonald is trying to get back to full guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. McDonough slips a nice elbow through MacDonald's hands, connecting with MacDonald's forehead. McDonough slows the pace down in half guard. McDonough's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
 OK we're going to have a standup here. Henry McDonough hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
McDonough shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. MacDonald is trying to stand back up but McDonough is controlling him
 That's two minutes gone in the round. McDonough is nestled in close to MacDonald, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. McDonough lands a nice short elbow. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. McDonough slows the pace down in half guard. McDonough takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. MacDonald is breathing heavily. McDonough looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. It looks like McDonough might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. McDonough takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Rory MacDonald's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. McDonough is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for MacDonald! McDonough unloads with some vicious shots from mount and MacDonald wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! McDonough celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Henry McDonough! Henry McDonough bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
