Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jon Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Rodrigues (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ricardo Rodrigues is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon Head!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricardo Rodrigues!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodrigues catches Head with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Head rushes Rodrigues and presses him up against the ropes.
Head utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Head throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rodrigues blocks it with crossed arms.
Head misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Rodrigues.
Head lands with a left to the head.
Rodrigues lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the ropes.
Head using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Head stalling in the clinch but Rodrigues improves position.
Head lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
It looks like Ricardo Rodrigues has been cut.
Head is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the ropes.
Rodrigues is trying to break the clinch but Head has him pressed against the ropes.
Head lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
Rodrigues has Head pressed up against the ropes and is working for takedown. Head manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
The referee is keeping an eye on Head - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Head misses with a hook to the ribs.
Head lands a good knee to the midsection. Rodrigues won't want to take too many of those.
Head is trying to stall.
Rodrigues gets control of Head's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rodrigues will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Rodrigues is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Rodrigues is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Head sitting in guard here, content to control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Head misses with a wild body shot.
Rodrigues with a lazy takedown attempt
and Head counters with a left and a right that stings Rodrigues.
Head scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Head controlling the action here for a moment.
Rodrigues misses with a punch to the body.
Rodrigues tries to pull guard but Head won't allow it.
Jon Head has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricardo Rodrigues.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Head is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Head is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Head tries to throw a body punch but Rodrigues avoids it by throwing Head back against the ropes.
Rodrigues fails to pull guard.
A battle for position here, against the ropes.
Head is pressed up against the ropes. Rodrigues has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Head down to the mat. Head avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Head throws a right hand that Rodrigues ducks under and follows up with a left that Rodrigues also avoids with ease.
Head walks into a straight right hand from Rodrigues.
Head lands a leg kick that knocks Rodrigues off balance momentarily.
Head lands a nice hook to Rodrigues's body. Rodrigues takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Rodrigues looks gassed!
That's four minutes gone in the round.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Head feints and then cracks Rodrigues's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Rodrigues down.
Jon Head is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Head throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Head lands a good knee to the midsection. Rodrigues won't want to take too many of those.
Head creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Rodrigues's defenses.

Head stalling in the clinch but Rodrigues improves position.
Head gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Rodrigues.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rodrigues tries to pull guard but Head holds him up against the ropes and eventually Rodrigues drops back down to his feet.
Rodrigues takes an elbow to the forehead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jon Head dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ricardo Rodrigues's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rodrigues takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Head throws a right and a left that both miss.
Head lands a leg kick that knocks Rodrigues off balance momentarily.
Rodrigues falls off balance throwing a combination
and Head makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Head lands with an overhand left.
Rodrigues drives through and clinches with Head against the ropes.
Rodrigues tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Head smiles and moves away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Head clinches.

Rodrigues is breathing heavily.
Head lands a knee to the head.
That has opened up Ricardo Rodrigues's cut even more.

Head lands a good knee to the midsection. Rodrigues won't want to take too many of those.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
A short left from Head.
Head landing knees to the head.
Rodrigues is rocked!
Head manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Rodrigues is still on wobbly legs! Can Head finish him?
Rodrigues takes a knee right on the jaw!
A nice right hand lands inside from Head.
Head scores with a shoulder strike.
Rodrigues jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Head walks away with a smile on his face. Rodrigues gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A jab from Rodrigues finds it's way through Head's defenses.
Head throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Rodrigues colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Head as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Rodrigues is left battered and dazed whilst Head and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jon Head!
As Jon Head got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: I can't wait to get on one of my girlfriends tonight baby!'.
